Customer Reviews Five Ten Camp Four

Right length but much stiffer, and tighter across my wide foot and high instep, than I've been used to with other approach/hiking shoes. (I'm not a climber but I like this kind of shoe.) I thought they'd ease, but was ready to give up before stuffing bags of water into them and freezing them. This worked amazingly well, now they're perfect. Equally stable and comfortable on dry rock, wet rock, gravel, cobbles, mud…. everything. Very grippy in all conditions I tried, yet muck doesn't build up on the soles. Highly recommended.

I'm on my 3rd pair and I've never had a problem with fit or break in on any pair I've purchased. I have high arches and the Camp 4's accommodate my feet perfectly. The extra thick rubber heel and toe cap offer excellent protection. In the summer I wear them almost every day, for approaches, work, casual, you name it. I love these shoes. If there's one weak spot its that the uppers split/wear-out faster than the soles do. A little patch work can easily fix the problem.I'll be buying another pair this spring………….

I've had these for a year. They suck as approach shoes, but are good for knock around because they fit so sloppy that they slip on and off without tying/untying, and the thick sole keeps you up out of the wet. Don't even think about climbing in them. Agree with the ankle-turning comments below.Have been through ~ 6 different approach shoes. The Gandas, while expensive, ROCK and climb up to 5.9

Customer Reviews Dunham by New Balance Men's Burlington Waterproof Oxford,Black

These shoes come in sizes that are hard to find (e.g., Size 12, 4E), which is why I was attracted to them. Plus, Dunham makes quality shoes and I needed black dress shoes. They arrived quickly. The shoes are comfortable to wear from the beginning - no break-in period. The shoes come with a removable cushioned pad inside. These shoes are orthopedics friendly. I found them true to size. They also have a wide, deep toe box.
I didn't think I would really need "waterproof" shoes, until the first night I wore them with a suit and it rained hard, but my feet were dry. Great shoes.

I wear custom insoles, a foot brace, and have arthritis in my feet. I can't get the insole in just any shoe and not just any shoe is comfortable. I also wear a suit and tie daily, and most shoes deep enough to take the insole and brace look awful, look too casual, or only come in black. Really, how many casual black shoes can a guy wear with a suit and tie? Well, I tried a pair of these shoes in brown----they fit great and look great, and the soles look like next-to-new, even in their 3rd year! None of that crepe stuff that wears down in 6 months. I like them so well, I got a black pair. They are waterproof; they don't look it.They even polish well. Thank you Dunham! Ever consider trying a second style built just like these? There was one issue: the brown pair D width is slightly narrower than the black pair in D width. I can cope.

I was shopping for a standard style shoe for office and evening casual. I have to order wider sizes and so its a sometimes hit and miss thing as not all sizes and widths are what they say. When these arrived, in perfect condition, I tried them on and walked about the house during the evening. The size and width were correct (9.5 4E)and there weren't any bad rubbing or pinch points. I tried them the next day at work (brought a back up pair of sneaks, too) and found that I could go the whole day without sore spots or other breaking in problems. Its been about a month now and I'm still not having problems, so these have been a hit for me.

Customer Reviews Caterpillar Men's Hydraulic Mid Cut Steel Toe Boot

I use my boots for work and they have been the best (medium price range) boot I've found. They do get a bit hot in summer and all steel toe's suck in the cold. But to meet my job requirements (ASTM rating and electrical hazard) they are the most comfortable I've found. Plenty of room in the toe area. I've tried a pair of WORX by red wing and the toe area was so small, I could literally wear out a sock after a couple of days. Not this boot. I get new boots every year, but this boot still has plenty of life in it.

This is a great boot. I've always had jobs that require me to be on my feet all day. And my friend had recently given me a regular pair of Timberlands. Half-way through the day my feet were killing me. So, I bought these babies. What an excellent investment. They're light weight, have a steel toe, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, have an excellent foot bed!! I don't feel a thing on the ground when I walk in them. I wear them all day and my feet don't ache at all.

I got these boots for my fiance as a Christmas present. He loves them so much he now wears them everyday. He wears them to work, to shovel, well basically for everything. They look stylish and fit great. They don't need the normal wearing in that most work boot do, they just fit right from the beginning.

Customer Reviews Bugatchi Fashion Sneakers Men Maddox

Great shoe fits a little snugg but overall good shoes have a little ink on the cream part of shoes. Great delivery timimg and was please with my purchase

I really like the look of these shoes and was disappointed that they didn't fit. I have a wide foot and sometimes buy men's shoes because they run wider than women's, but these were too narrow and I had to return them.

Very nice & comfortable. Just the right color to wear with the Saints clothes. Wish I had gotten the high top.

Customer Reviews Five Ten Canyoneer 2

My research in the mountainous rainforest requires a shoe that easily adapts to a constantly changing terrain and environment which is sometimes treacherous and unforgiving. This shoe is the best I have ever had for rocks, dirt, mud, steep grades, ascent and descent, and water as well as climbing trees and rope when necessary. The grip is unrivaled by anything I have ever had. True to size, but a bit wide, and more comfortable with wear. Take a while to dry out if they they get wet, but worth it. I strongly recommend these for anyone who is serious about the outdoor exploring in rough terrain and will definately own another pair in the future!

If you need boots like this then these are awesome and you will be so glad you got them! I did The Narrows two day hike in Zion National Park and probably would have broke my ankle without them. They really hold your ankle and heel well. If you plan to wear neoprene socks with them, you may want to get half a size larger depending on your sock thickness.

Runs small. I wear an 8.5 and in these both my big toe and pinky toes rub. I walked 5 feet before they hurt. They went back to Zappos. Can't comment on how they would perform as I never used them.

Customer Reviews Dunham St. Johnsbury

1st, the buying experience with Zappos is extraordinary. Fast and simple. A frequent Mephisto purchaser, I wasn't sure the Dunham product would meet the same standards, especially at 1/2 the price. I was wrong! These sandals are extremely well made and unbelievably comfortable right out of the box! I knew instantly these were keepers. I'm 6'2", nearly 300lbs, with peripheral neuropathy. With Zappos free shipping both ways, it's easy to try something and ship it back. Not necessary this time! Thanks Zappos! Thanks Dunham!

I purchased these for my husband because he had the same style, but in a 3 strap version, last year. When we received this style, my husband didn\'t like the back strap that needs to be adjusted on both sides. Also, the 4E was a little narrower than he would have liked. I am returning them for a style that has a simpler back strap. Otherwise, the shoe was nice.

I bought these about a week before a trip to Europe when my old ones broke. They didn't need breaking in and I wore them most of the time, lots of walking. They are very comfortable. Best ever.

Customer Reviews Caterpillar 2nd Shift

I bought these working shoes for my boyfriend's birthday for his meteorite hunting. He loves them and shows them to everybody! These shoes are true to size. He usually wears 10 or 10.5, so I bought 10.5 for this pair, and he can wear thicker socks. They are very cool boots and tough but very comfortable!

Incredible boot - I\'ve owned my pair (plain toe, honey color) for almost four years now. Took just a few days to break in, and they\'re really, really comfortable, stylish, and tough! I\'m now a college kid, turning eighteen this year, and I can say that Caterpillar is really good at resisting the abuse a teenage boy can inflict on it. Even though it\'s not labeled as waterproof, numerous times has it encountered heavy rains, and nothing\'s happened to it except for a change in color for about an hour or so. And, like I said, it\'s really tough too. I once climbed Mt. Pinatubo in these and of all of us, only I had my shoes still intact in the end. In addition to that, it\'s really stylish, too. Works well with blue, khaki, or black jeans, and I dance in these! I\'m sure these will last still much longer. Thank you so much Caterpillar.

Being a student in school I go through shoes very fast. But I am pleased to say these boots have held up and stayed perfectly intact. They are comfortable, reliable, and tough as steel. The tongue can give you some problems at times, but other than that I have no problems with them! Very good boot. Very good buy.

Customer Reviews Bugatchi Britto

First of all I love Bugatchi shoes. Excellent color and quality and I felt that ordering them over zappos was fairly low risk (the same thing with Tommy Bahama). First of all, the color is a bit more rainbow color than I had in mind. This may be a bit too "loud" for some people. But the color is really great so it will grow on you. Or, I think it would look good with a V neck sweater over it or a sport coat or something ... but it's pretty bold just as a stand alone shoes.

Bugatchi is my go-to brand for my fiance. I love the way Bugatchi looks on my sweetie...fun, well made, can be worn casually and for his serious meetings. Modern cut, on trend, and it just sits beautifully on a man, My fiance is picky about what he wears (worse than me!) and has great style, so this was an easy choice.

These shoes looks great in the picture....but! I was alarmed about how BRIGHT it is in person. The shoes still works in his wardrobe (color is good!), but just know....it is bright, so make sure that is what you are looking for. He make it work by pairing it with muted colors and it looks good. Just be ready for the Bright! ...which is why I give four versus five stars...the colors look more muted than they are.

Customer Reviews Five Ten Freerider

This is an all around excellent shoe for bmx and and mountain biking as the stealth rubber soles grip to the pedals very well. They might feel a little stiff when new, but break in nicely and are extremely durable. They are similar to the 510 basic, if not identical with different color schemes.

I was trying to get back into biking but my feet were always so sore. I really didn't like the idea of the clip pedals special pedals. But I really wanted something with a stiffer sole to take the strain off of my feet. I absolutely love these shoes. They are stiff enough to avoid hurting my feet but they stick to the pedals like glue so I don't feel like I'm losing any of my force, either on my mountain or road bikes. They've got enough support that I can wear them running errands and they are sturdy enough to take a beating but still look great. They are comfy and I love the way they look - I wouldn't ride my bike in anything else. Long live the Freerider!

I've always used clipless pedals, but now am getting more into free ride stuff so I switched to flats. I tried wearing Vans at first but my feet kept slipping off the pedals at inopportune times. The Five Ten Freeriders are amazing. I actually got a little freaked out by how grippy they were. I feel almost like I'm clipped in. Can't say how durable they are as I've only had mine two months, but they do well even when wet and muddy. I'm a women's size 7.5/8 so I ordered the men's size 6 and they fit perfectly. Not the most comfortable for casual wear (though they look cool!) because of the stiff sole, but excellent for biking.

Customer Reviews Dunham Cloud Midcut

I have worn Dunham Cloud Nine hiking boots for years. The original boot wore well, was comfortable, and had good all-around traction especially in the mud. The heel was also higher. With this new model, the Dunham has changed the sole to be less aggressive, and lowered the heel. There is very little padding between your feet and the ground. The boot is uncomfortable and mud traction is poor. I would not recommend this boot.

This shoe is incredible. I think it is named aptly because you do feel a little bit like you're walking on clouds. This is why I love Zappos! I ordered these one morning (for cheaper than directly from Dunham) and got them the next afternoon with free shipping and began wearing them ever since. Great support, feels like its taking care of your foot, and very high quality for lasting long. Worth the money if you do any activities outdoors on your feet a lot or are active in general.

Great shoe! I have a narrow foot and these fit perfectly - comfortable right out of the box. Perfect for hiking or just knocking around. Customer service at Zappos makes it impossible to shop for shoes elsewhere! Thanks!

Customer Reviews Caterpillar Brode Steel Toe

Awesome work shoes. I put new inserts in them and they are great. I work all day on my feet and I working in and out of hot factories running around. They are very flexible. I want to get another pair of them soon when I get the cash because I know if I don't they will change styles or get rid of them by the time I need another pair. I'd rather buy them and leave them in the box then take the chance of changing up on these shoes because there that cool. They look sweet too.

These shoes are fantastic. A bit heavy because of the toe - obviously, but a great alternative to a bigger, clumsy shoe. I only wish the Hi-top version had been in stock

One of these shoes digs into my foot above the toes until after wearing them for about an hour every morning (until it warms up?). The other one fits fine. For safety these aren't made breathable, so my feet end up pretty sweaty at the end of the day. I do like the style and they are comfortable to walk on (soft).

Customer Reviews Bugatchi Agam

These made my feet appear long due to the shape of the shoes. High quality detail, construction, material, and design. The light blue has a nice steel blue tone. They are worth every penny.

Absolutely giant-sized. Ordered a half-size smaller than my usual dress shoe size, and had several inches to spare. I felt like a little kid wearing his dad's shoes.

My husband loved these shoes. Unfortunately , although he is a perfect 10.5 M these were huge on him and one shoe appeared to be a full size larger than the other. Very sorry to have to return them as he really loved the look and quality of these.

Customer Reviews Five Ten Freerider VXI

I already loved Five Ten but this shoe turned it into an obsession. The VXI line is all ill ever use for mountain biking from now on! They look great, feel great, and most importantly, stick to my pedals like glue. What else do I really need?

This is a great mountain biking shoe. It sticks to my flats and I haven't had a problem with any foot slippage. I cycled all over Moab wearing these and felt secure and comfortable through the technical terrain.

These are great! I have tried other flat pedals shoes 5.10, Teva LINKS, etc., and these are exactly what I am looking for in flat pedal shoes for all mountain riding. The sole is very stiff, almost like a clipless and grip is phenomenal. I have switched to flat pedals/shoes a couple of years ago due to knee issues but always missed the connected feeling clipless had - but no more. They do run a little wide, which is perfect for me since I am a EE. The only thing I would like is maybe Velcro strap to secure the laces, but that is more of a personal preference. These are not comfortable shoes for walking since they are stiff but they are great for what they are designed for. The smooth sole is also a great innovation.

Customer Reviews Dunham Wade Slip On

Attractive shoe with hard to find 4E width. Will purchase again when these need to be retired. May try 6 1/2 length, as my size sevens are a little loose after wearing them for a while.

Excellent quality, but size seems to run large. I wear a 15.5 and typically by up if possible. Size 16 in this shoe was just too large for my big foot. It was fun however to try on a shoe that was too large. I do not get to do that often. Returned for size 15.

If you have narrow feet these shoes will not fit. The fore foot is narrow but the heel is very wide, so your heel will slip out as you walk. They are impossible to walk in. Dress socks will be pulled down in 20 yards. I liked the look but they are completely useless. I have to return them. If you have narrow feet I would suggest you not even bother Dunham. This is the second time I've tried their products and the narrow sizes (B) do not fit narrow feet. They also run about a half size large.

Customer Reviews Caterpillar 2nd Shift Steel Toe

Good quality construction - should last a long while even under the heavy use I give them. Only thing I would change is wish they were taller for more ankle support - but that is a personal preference. Another note - these were comfortable from day 1 - almost no break-in time required. Unusual for a heavy work boot!

Bought these Caterpillar work boots for our son, who works in construction. Fit perfectly, worn immediatley and he says, very comfortable! Terrific order process & super speedy delivery, thanks so much!

These boots were somewhat stiff and uncomfortable during the first couple wears. However, after broken in they are perfect for my job and ideal during snowy/slushy winter months. They fit well and are very durable. Highly recommended.

Customer Reviews Bugatchi Miro

Costomer Reviews of Five Ten Camp Four

I work for an outdoor adventure company and I'd say 3 quarters of our guides wear 5.10 and only the ones "in the know" wear Camp Fours. We spend most of our trips on volcanic sharp rocks and it's quite rare that a pair of 5.10s can last us more than 2 seasons. These push for 3 which is quite impressive. Lots of foam which could make the shoe quite hot in warm weather.

Great shoe and the sole has made a huge difference for me! I am one of those people who tends to slip and trip while hiking -- the Stealth rubber has given me a better grip and more confidence. I have worn these backpacking in the Beartooths (5 days), 13 days trekking in Nepal and the awful city streets in Kathmandu. This is my permanent go-to shoe.

Great shoes! They have a good fit, true to size, but I would recommend wearing them with a moderate to thick sock. The back of the shoe rubbed my ankle a little when I wore it with a thinner sock. When I wear them with my Thorlos, I have no problem with them and they feel good all day long. I've even gotten some compliments on how good they look. I haven't had a chance to wear them on a hike yet, but would definitely recommend them.
